How to Use This Tool

Step 1: Open the Tool

Navigate to the Text Diff Checker on TextToolz. You'll see two side-by-side input boxes labeled "Original Text" and "Modified Text."

Step 2: Paste the Text

  • In the left box, paste the original version of your text or code.
  • In the right box, paste the updated or revised version.

Step 3: Choose Comparison Mode

Use the dropdown to choose from:

  • Line by Line: Compare content by rows
  • Word by Word: Compare content granularly

Step 4: Set Comparison Options

Select or deselect the following:

  • Ignore Case
  • Ignore Whitespace
  • Show Line Numbers

Step 5: Click "Compare"

The tool will process and display a color-coded view showing:

  • 🟥 Deletions (from the original text)
  • 🟩 Additions (in the modified text)
  • 🟨 Line or word differences

Step 6: Review and Adjust

Make use of the "Clear" button to reset and compare again. You can change modes or toggles without refreshing the page.
